Matteo Thun is a prominent Italian architect and designer known for his minimalist and functional approach to design. Born in Bolzano in 1952, Thun has made significant contributions to various fields, including architecture, interior design and product design.

Thun's designs often prioritize simplicity and functionality, avoiding unnecessary ornamentation. He often incorporates natural materials such as wood, stone and glass into his designs. Thun is committed to sustainable practices and has designed numerous eco-friendly buildings; he collaborated with other renowned designers, such as Antonio Citterio, to create iconic designs.

Fortunato Depero was a leading figure of Italian Futurism, an artistic movement that revolutionized 20th century art and design. Born in Fondo (Trento) in 1892 and passed away in Rovereto in 1960, Depero was a multifaceted artist, working as a painter, sculptor, designer, illustrator, set designer and costume designer. Depero enthusiastically embraced the principles of Futurism, celebrating speed, technology and modernity. His works are characterized by vibrant dynamism, geometric shapes and a bold use of color, which reflect his fascination with the industrial and mechanical world. Depero believed in a total art, which expanded into all aspects of daily life. He designed furniture, fabrics, toys and even fountains, taking Futurism beyond traditional art forms.
