Pâte de verre is an ancient artistic technique, but which experienced renewed interest in the 19th century, in particular thanks to Art Nouveau artists such as Emile Gallé.

Literally means "glass paste". It is a technique that involves the creation of colored glass objects by modeling a molten glass paste. This paste is then fired at a high temperature to melt the glass particles and create a solid, transparent object.
Glass-paste objects are often etched with a matte surface, rich in texture and detail, and a range of vibrant colors.

This technique allows you to create objects of very different shapes and sizes, from small sculptures to large vases. At the same time it allows artists to express their creativity by shaping glass paste and creating complex and detailed surfaces.
Each pâte de verre object is a unique piece, handmade and with its own personality.
