“Fornace Mian” is a historic artistic glassworks located in Murano, Venice. It is situated in Murano, the heart of the Venetian glassmaking tradition. Its precise address is Fondamenta Vetrai 138, 30141 Murano.
The glassworks was founded in 1962, perpetuating the island’s millennia-old glassmaking tradition. Fornace Mian specializes in creating a wide range of decorative glass objects, including home furnishings and tableware, glass sculptures, lighting, vases in various shapes and colors, and decorative mirrors.
The glassworks uses various traditional Murano glass techniques, such as grinding, engraving, decoration, and mirror finishing.
