Walter Pozzi (1991 - 1989) is a well-known Italian painter of the twentieth century. Some notes about him:
- in 1939 he founded the "La Rotonda" Group
- he organizes collective exhibitions between Milan and Genoa, in which several of today's most significant artists participate
- in 1945 he created the "Black Cat" Group
The initiatives organized new directions and new ways to present culture to public opinion in Milanese and Italian artistic life.
His most famous subjects are Harlequin, the lovers, still lifes, and taverns.
