Ceramica Colonnata was one of the most important and long-lived factories in the Florentine ceramic scene. Born in Sesto Fiorentino, it has been producing high quality ceramic objects for decades, characterized by an elegant and refined design and decorations rich in artistic suggestions.

Founded in the 19th century, the Colonnata stands out for the production of ceramics and pottery for domestic use and for rustic and modern style furnishings. The company soon achieved considerable success, thanks to the quality of its products and the skill of its craftsmen. In 1893 the Colonnata obtained important international recognition, a gold medal at the World Columbian Exposition in Chicago.

The Colonnatas' production ranged from everyday objects, such as plates and crockery, to more decorative pieces, such as vases and sculptures.
The decorations of the Colonnata ceramics were often created with the airbrush, a technique that allowed for nuanced and delicate effects to be obtained.
La Colonnata produces ceramics in different styles, from Liberty to modern, adapting to the tastes and trends of the time.
