Amleto Dalla Costa is renowned for his figurative and sensual style, which developed from the 1960s onward. His work is characterized by stylized, elegant, and often melancholic female figures, executed using a painting technique that influenced the design and commercial illustration of his time. His work often centers on the female figure as an archetype of beauty, sensuality, and mystery. He makes striking use of lines, flat colors, and crisp outlines, creating a suspended, almost metaphysical atmosphere.
