Federico de Majo is a Venetian designer and entrepreneur with deep ties to the tradition of Murano glassmaking. Having grown up around the craft of glassmaking, he has developed an approach that brings the expertise of master glassmakers together with a clean, contemporary style.

His work is closely connected to the historic de Majo glassworks, founded in Murano in 1947, for which he designs lighting collections and glass objects distinguished by particular attention to form, transparency, and above all, color.

In his work, Murano tradition is reinterpreted through clean, direct forms that highlight the qualities of blown glass and its infinite color variations. This approach brings craftsmanship, design, and Venetian culture into dialogue, bringing the experience of Murano glassmaking into contemporary design.
