Alberto Ricci is an Italian designer associated with the artistic production of the historic De Majo of Murano glassworks, with which he collaborated during the 1990s.

His research explores the sculptural and chromatic qualities of blown glass, giving rise to vases, bottles, and objects characterized by essential forms and a refined use of color. Among his productions for De Majo is the Corunas series, created in the early 1990s.

Ricci’s works bear witness to a particularly vibrant phase in De Majo’s production, in which the Murano artisanal tradition embraced the language of contemporary design through collaboration with international artists and designers.
