His career began with frequenting the artistic studios of Emilio Quadrelli and the painter Giuseppe Mentessi. His painting mainly depicts landscapes, mountain, lake and marine. Within these themes he addresses the social aspects of the contexts he portrays, with a focus on the world of work in fields and sea ports.
