Walter Pozzi (1991 - 1989) is a well-known Italian painter of the twentieth century. Some notes about him:
- in 1939 he founded the "La Rotonda" group
- organizes collective exhibitions between Milan and Genoa, in which several of today's most significant artists participate
- in 1945 he created the "Gatto Nero" group
The initiatives organized for Milanese and Italian artistic life provide new orientations and new ways of proposing culture to public opinion.
His most famous subjects are Harlequin, lovers, still lifes and taverns.
