Vincenzo Canino (Naples, 1892 - 1974) was a Neapolitan painter known for depicting landscapes and still lifes. Canino refined his painting technique also thanks to his experience as a fresco artist and restorer: he decorated the churches of Naples and the island of Ischia, and gave his contribution to the infamous paintings of the Sorrento Cathedral.
Considered one of the continuers of the Posillipo School, whose artists stood out for their open-air painting, depicting the Campania countryside and the coast in his views, glimpses, palaces, he was a friend of Attilio Pratella, Ferdinando Del Basso and Gaetano di Grazie .
