Gino Meloni (Varese, 29 April 1905 – Lissone, 23 February 1989) was an Italian painter and sculptor.

Meloni moved to Lissone with his family at the age of six. Here he attended the evening school of drawing and sculpture at the Brera Academy in Milan, working as a printer during the day. His work is characterized by an expressionist realism, with often deformed and suffering figures, immersed in desolate landscapes. Among his favorite subjects are workers, peasants and the marginalized.

Meloni was a prolific artist, who created a large number of paintings, sculptures and drawings. His work has been exhibited in numerous personal and collective exhibitions in Italy and abroad.

Meloni is considered one of the greatest exponents of Italian expressionist realism of the second half of the twentieth century. His work is still appreciated today for its expressive power and profound humanity.
