Domenico Purificato (Fondi, 1915 – Rome, 1984) was an Italian painter, a representative of Realism. He is known for his representations of human figures, landscapes, and still lifes, characterized by a strong realism and a particular attention to light and color.

Purificato was born in Fondi, in the province of Latina. He trained artistically in Rome, attending the Academy of Fine Arts.
His painting reflects the influence of Italian Realism, with particular attention to the representation of everyday reality and humble subjects. One can also notice an influence of Impressionist painting, especially regarding the use of light and color.
