Colonnata Ceramics was one of the most important and longest-standing factories in Florence’s ceramics industry. Founded in Sesto Fiorentino, it has been producing high-quality ceramic objects for decades, characterized by elegant, refined designs and richly artistic decorations.

Founded in the 19th century, Colonnata distinguished itself through the production of ceramics and tableware for domestic use, as well as furnishings in rustic and modern styles. The company soon achieved considerable success thanks to the quality of its products and the skill of its artisans. In 1893, Colonnata received an important international recognition: a gold medal at the World’s Columbian Exposition in Chicago.

Colonnata’s production ranged from everyday objects, such as plates and tableware, to more decorative pieces, such as vases and sculptures.
Colonnata ceramics were often decorated using an airbrush, a technique that allowed for soft, delicate shading effects.
Colonnata produced ceramics in a variety of styles, from Art Nouveau to modern, adapting to the tastes and trends of the period.
