Alberto Ricci is an Italian designer associated with the artistic production of the historic De Majo glassworks in Murano, with which he collaborated during the 1990s.

His work explores the sculptural and chromatic qualities of blown glass, giving rise to vases, bottles, and objects characterized by essential forms and a refined use of color. Among his creations for De Majo is the Corunas series, produced in the early 1990s.

Ricci’s works document a particularly vibrant phase in De Majo’s production, during which the Murano glassmaking tradition opened up to the language of contemporary design through collaboration with international artists and designers.
