Mazzega is an Italian lighting company founded in 1946 by Angelo Vittorio Mazzega. They are known for their high-quality, hand-crafted Murano glass chandeliers and lighting fixtures.

Carlo Nason is a renowned Italian glass designer from a family of Murano glassmakers. He is known for his innovative approach, which combines traditional techniques with a modern aesthetic.

In the period 1965-1980 Carlo Nason collaborated with the A.V. studio. Mazzega company (precursor of the current Mazzega 1946). Nason designed lighting pieces for Mazzega that are now sought after by collectors.

Today, Mazzega 1946 may still produce some lighting designs originally created by Nason, potentially as part of their reissue collections. Nason himself continues to collaborate with various glass companies.
