Carlo Domenici  naxes in 1897 in Livorno, he embarks on an artistic path that led him to be greatly appreciated as an Italian collector's painter. At the beginning of his career he made stain tablets signed with the tail of the brush (top or bottom). He exhibits in various exhibitions, participates in the Rome Quadrennial of Art and the Venice International Art Biennale. Among the subjects of Domenici's painting are landscapes of the island of Elba and the Maremma and costume scenes from Livorno. His paintings are mostly made with the oil painting technique although there are lithographs and paintings made with the etching technique.  He died on the island of Elba in 1981.
